The Association of Rivers Trusts and Westcountry Rivers Trust are pleased to invite you to our joint 2007 Awards Dinner and Autumn Conference. ART’s Awards Dinner is being hosted at the impressive Headland Hotel, Fistral, Newquay, overlooking Fistral Beach and the Atlantic Ocean, on the evening of Thursday 8 th November 2007 (7.00 pm for 7.30 pm), and gives us the opportunity publicly to reward excellence and achievement by rivers trusts and individuals.
The Conference on the 9th November will ne held at the Eden project and will address the underlying questions of whether there is a way to manage catchments towards what we deem to be a “natural state”, supporting natural levels of diversity and abundance whilst substantially retaining the other services provided upon which modern society relies, and what level of intervention is suitable: protection, restoration or enhancement? The cost of the Conference is £85 per person, including lunch and refreshments, and the Awards Dinner is £45 per person, inclusive of wine. A booking form can be downloaded from the table below.
An on-line booking/credit card payment facility, is now available by clicking here. Please note that we are also happy to receive e-mail bookings on lyn@wrt.org.uk
