New Trust Director
The Westcountry Rivers Trust is pleased to announce that Dr Dylan Bright CBiol., MIBiol..,has been appointed the Director of the Trust.

The Trust is a medium sized charity that has delivered several catchment scale river restoration projects in the Westcountry and is an internationally respected conservation, educational and research body.

Dr Bright has been the Senior scientist of the Trust for the last seven years and been closely involved in the development of all the Trusts projects and has lead the Trust’s Research and Educational operations.

He is a member of the Atlantic Salmon Trust Honorary Scientific Advisory Panel and several other local and national advisory panels concerned with water protection and management. He is well known and respected by all the public and private bodies concerned with water rivers and fisheries management in the Westcountry.

Michael Martin Chairman of the Trustees writes
“I am delighted that Dylan, who is a tower of strength, has accepted this appointment and I am sure he will lead the Trust in all its endeavours to restore and improve the watercourses and fisheries of the Westcountry”.
