Westcountry Angling Passport

The Westcountry Rivers Trust has updated, redeveloped and relaunched its Angling 2000 scheme. It is now known as the Westcountry Angling Passport and links in with other river trust fishing schemes and includes a booking office as well as facilities for buying fishing tokens and finding out about Westcountry fishing beats.

Enrol in our Summer River course
The Trust will be running a river expert course accredited through the University of Plymouth and run over four weekends from June to August. The course is at degree level and is a mixture of practical river-side skills and taught lab and classroom based identification. The course is open to anyone with an interest in the ecology and management of our rivers such as:
* Fishing beat owners * Natural history enthusiasts
* Land managers * Invasive Weeds Controllers
* Landscape designers * Conservationists
* Ecologists * Consultants
